Anthill Residence twin-skyscraper residential project has been under construction in Bomonti district of Istanbul since spring 2008. The area takes his name from the Bomonti brewery, opened in 1902 by the Swiss Bomonti brothers. The structural height of both towers is 195 meters. This height reaches 210 meters with the spires on top of both towers. The property is only a few minutes from an exit on the local highway known as E5. There is an ongoing construction of a tunnel right next to the property that will connect the area with the centre of the city. This tunnel is a key piece in the development of this huge project since it will connect the area with the Bosphorus and Taksim square, and will allow a quickly mobility and communication. There are planned similar residential projects for the district.
However, all the area surrounded is composed by a large highway dividing the land in two parts and small constructions and buildings in the right side next to the Anthill Residence. The urban fabric is a typically low-medium class neighborhood, and the new residences being constructed will be separated from the existing district, as a vertical gated community.
